On March 7-8, 2019, BCMP hosted “Science at the Chemistry – Biology Interface”, a symposium celebrating Christopher T. Walsh, chair of the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology from its inception in 1987 through 1995, and treasured member of the faculty for more than 25 years.

The first day of the symposium also included a surprise announcement of a new endowed professorship: the Christopher T. Walsh Professorship in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School!
